District III is excited to announce the upcoming Junior Fellow Day for all OB/GYN residents, medical students and young physicians on Friday October 15, 2010.  The meeting will be held at Drexel University in Philadelphia from 8am to 3pm.  This years theme will be Legislative Advocacy and the highlights of the day will include:

1. Lectures from each section legislative chair regarding “hot button” issues in our district as well as Dr. Hal Lawrence, ACOG Executive Vice President of Practice Activities

2. Laparoscopic Olympics
3. Module Pit stop Stations (Amniocentesis, LEEP, Episiotomy repairs, Shoulder Dystocia, B-Lynch suture, Endometrial Ablations, ESSURE placement, Forceps Module and Lecture)

4. laparoscopic pig lab
5. Medical Student Recognition Award
