Schwarz, MD, MPH, Health Commissioner of Philadelphia, invites you to a program and discussion with your colleagues regarding the implementation of the CDC guidelines recommending that every patient from age 13-64 be offered routine HIV testing. Amir Qaseem, MD, PhD, MHA, FACP, Director, Clinical Policy Medical Education Division, American College of Physicians and Philip Peters, MD, Medical Officer, Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta, GA will join Dr. Schwarz to present HIV Screening for Patients 13-64 years: A Guide for Primary Care Providers. They will be followed by a panel of local physicians who will discuss their experiences of incorporating HIV testing into their practices. There will be ample time for discussion and questions from the audience.
